Citroncirus
AVAILABLE NOWHERE ELSE, UNIQUE
Incredibly hardy Citrus hybrid, seedlings may be pollinated crosses with lemon but most likely (as often happens with most Citrus) are clones, exactly reproduced copies of the parent, which is a slow growing evergreen that has proved incredibly hardy in my Norfolk garden unprotected over thirty years, fruits variable often oddly shaped, much resemble small oranges some rather pithy but juicier ones make excellent bitter marmalade.
6 fat seeds (with bonus ‘seconds’) Sow in moist compost in warmth. £5
